Introduction
Full-size legal pads take up desk space and often feel oversized for quick notes. The Amazon Basics 5×8 narrow-ruled pads are a compact alternative: six pads, pastel colors, and clean perforated pages for home, school, or office.
Size and Ruling
Each pad measures 5 × 8 inches with narrow ruling (about 9/32-inch line spacing). That closer spacing suits smaller handwriting and lets you fit more notes per page than wide-ruled pads.
Pack and Colors
The 6-pack includes 50 sheets per pad (300 sheets total). Colors are typically two each of pink, orchid, and blue so you can color-code projects, subjects, or family members without buying separate packs.
Perforated Sheets and Backer
Micro-perforated pages tear cleanly for filing or sharing. A sturdy cardboard back provides a firm writing surface even when the pad is not on a desk — useful in meetings, on the couch, or while standing.
Who Should Buy This?
If you want an inexpensive, well-reviewed set of small note pads with narrow lines and multiple pastel colors, the Amazon Basics 5×8 6-pack is a practical everyday choice for lists, journaling, or classroom use.
