Design and Build
The all-aluminium unibody is just 11.3mm thin and completely fanless, so it stays silent even under sustained load.
Performance
The 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU handle heavy multitasking, Lightroom edits and 4K video exports with ease. Thermal throttling only appears in very long render jobs.
Display and Battery
The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina panel hits 500 nits with excellent colour accuracy, and real-world battery life lands around 15 to 18 hours of mixed use.
