Introduction
Mechanical pencils save time when you do not want to sharpen constantly. The BIC Xtra-Smooth Pastel 24-count pack is aimed at students and everyday desk use, with No. 2 lead and a soft pastel barrel look.
Design and Specs
Each pencil uses 0.7mm medium-point lead and advances with a click on the built-in eraser end. Barrels come in assorted pastel colors. The lead is standard No. 2 / HB, which is widely accepted for school work and many standardized tests.
Writing Experience
BIC markets the lead as smooth, resistant to smudging, and clean to erase. The 0.7mm point is a good balance for general writing — fine enough for notes, sturdy enough for everyday pressure. No sharpening means less interruption during class or meetings.
Pack Value
Twenty-four pencils is enough to stock a classroom drawer, share among family, or last a long time at one desk. These are value mechanical pencils, not premium drafting tools — expect solid school/office performance rather than metal-body luxury.
Who Should Buy This?
If you want an affordable bulk pack of No. 2 mechanical pencils with a nicer pastel look, the BIC Xtra-Smooth 24-count is an easy choice. Ideal for students, teachers, and home offices restocking basics.
